How Your Child Will Use ReminderMillie Services

Children seventeen (17) years or younger may be encouraged to join ReminderMillie from any ReminderMillie member and/or Provider, as defined in Section 1.3 and 1.4, respectively, of the ReminderMillie Terms of Use Agreement. ReminderMillie members and/or Providers may use our Services to interact with children seventeen (17) years or younger, but only after using our Services to send an invitation to a parent or guardian of that child.

Upon receiving such an invitation, a parent or guardian may register the child for a sub-account to be governed at all times under the parent or guardian’s own membership. This ensures that the parent or guardian will be promptly notified whenever the child uses our Services, including, but not limited to, when the child uses our Services to directly message or otherwise communicate with a ReminderMillie member and/or Provider; when the child uses our Services to facilitate the scheduling of a service appointment or purchasing of a product from any other ReminderMillie member and/or Provider; and when the child uses a parent or guardian’s authorized payment information with the ReminderMillie Payment System, as defined and referred to in Sections 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4 of our Terms of Use Agreement.

All correspondence or other activity between a child’s sub-account and a ReminderMillie member and/or Provider shall be logged with the parent or guardian’s member account. Notification of such correspondence or activity will be provided to the parent or guardian’s registered email contact information in a copy-correspondence message. This feature cannot be revoked, altered, or otherwise removed from a child’s sub-account across our Services.

How We Use the Information

We use the personal information your child submits to operate, maintain, and provide to your child the features and functionality of the Service. Any personal information or content that your child voluntarily discloses for posting to the Service (for instance, in “Content” your child posts, as defined in our Terms of Use Agreement) becomes available to the public. If your child removes such Content, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other users have copied or stored your child’s Content.

You consent to our using your child’s email address to send your child Service-related notices, including any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail. Your child may not opt out of Service-related emails but may change the frequency of receiving such emails by changing the preferences in your child’s Account Settings.

We may also use your child’s email address to send your child other messages, such as newsletters, changes to features of the Service, or special offers. If your child does not want to receive such email messages, your child may opt out by sending an email message to Support@ReminderMillie.com with the words “No email” in the subject field. Opting out may prevent your child from receiving email messages regarding updates, improvements, or offers.

ReminderMillie may use certain information about your child and/or your child’s Content without identifying your child as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as analyzing how the Service is used, diagnosing service or technical problems, maintaining security, and personalizing advertisements and promotions.

We track the total number of visitors to our site and the popularity of each area. This information helps us provide a technically smooth and creatively fun online experience for all our visitors. We may share some of this aggregated information with third parties.

You have the option to agree to our collecting and using your child’s personal information without agreeing to the disclosure of the information to third parties. That is, your child can participate in activities on ReminderMillie without your consenting to our disclosing your personal information to third parties.

Parental Consent

As noted above, we need your consent before we permit your under-13-year-old child to use our Services. You will be emailed a form requesting your consent when your child registers for the Service.

New Consent If Change in This Policy

If we change the way we collect, use or disclosure your child’s personal information we will send you a new notice and request for another consent. For example, if in the future we want to disclose the child’s information to third parties we will provide you with a new notice and ask for your consent before we disclose any personal information to third parties.

Account Revisions

You may review, correct, update, or delete your child’s personal information that has been provided to us at any time. All you have to do is e-mail us at Support@ReminderMillie.com and we will contact you about reviewing and/or editing your child’s information.

Revoking and Deleting Your Consent

At any time, you may revoke your consent, refuse to allow us to further use or collect your child’s personal information, and direct us to delete the information. If you revoke your consent, we will no longer permit your child to participate in certain activities on ReminderMillie. Certain activities on ReminderMillie may not require your child’s personal information and your child will continue to have access to such activities. 1.2.2. Cookies A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent to your browser from a web site’s computers and stored in a browser-related file on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies are uniquely assigned to your computer, and are read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. We link cookies to your unique registration number and use them to enhance and personalize your experience on the Site, including helping authenticate you when you use the Site, remembering your preferences and registration information, and customizing the content and advertisements provided to you on the Site. For example, storing a cookie on your computer allows you to login without typing the registered e-mail address or registration number and password. We also use cookies to deliver information and fresh content specific to your interests. If you do not want these cookies stored on your computer you can reject cookies by modifying your browser setting accordingly (each browser is different, so check the “Help” menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences). See section titled “Third Party Ad Servers” below for additional information about cookies.

1.2.3. Beacons. A web beacon (also known as a clear gif) is a tiny graphic with a unique identifier that is placed on a web page or within an email. It is similar in function to a cookie, and is used to collect a limited set of information, such as a cookie number, time and date of page view, and a description of the page on which the web beacon resides. ReminderMillie and its third party advertisers may use web beacons to compile aggregate statistics about which advertisements and promotions users have seen and how users responded to them. This information helps us better manage content on the Site by informing us what content is effective. In addition, we may use web beacons in our promotional e-mail messages to count how many messages and which emails have been opened and acted upon. This use allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and our marketing campaigns. ReminderMillie does associate web beacons to individual member personal information for internal purposes only, in an effort to understand our members’ individual preferences with our email products and other Services.

1.3. When You Use the Message Center. We have developed a Message Center that uses a “double-blind” e-mail system, which hides the email addresses to protect the privacy of both the sender and receiver. When using the Message Center, it is up to you to choose when you are comfortable disclosing your e-mail address, or any other contact information, to others. ReminderMillie respects the privacy of member communications sent through the Message Center and does not read or disclose those communications unless we believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of ReminderMillie Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law enforcement.

1.4. When You Use Message Boards and Private Groups. Information submitted to message is displayed publicly, so please exercise care in deciding what information you wish to disclose. Information posted in private groups is viewable by only those who are invited to participate by the owner of the group. Please note however that, although private, these communications and postings are subject to the same disclosures as stated above in “When You Use the Message Center”. We will then automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail (usually including your name and email address) inviting them to visit the Site. We ask for this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time e-mail and tracking the success of our referral program.

1.6. When You Build a Personal Profile. ReminderMillie has created tools to enable our members to communicate with each other. You can use these tools to build a personal profile to share as much information about yourself as you wish. Except as otherwise noted when you use a specific profile tool, all information that you add to your profile is publicly viewable by other members of the Site and may be included in the Site “search” tool. For this reason, please use care in providing information that you may not want to publicly disclose. To protect the privacy of our members, ReminderMillie does not allow the public posting of personal contact information. Additionally, please see our Community Guidelines for more information regarding the limitations on the types of information that you may post on your personal profile and elsewhere on the Site. ReminderMillie gives you the ability to find other members by browsing the affiliation lists, using the search functionality on the Site, or by utilizing geographic information made available by other members. When you find other members, you can view their personal profiles to find out more about them based on the information they have decided to share on the Site. Every time that you visit another member’s profile, your name and the date of your visit will be viewable by that member as someone who visited that member’s profile unless you opt out of having your name automatically left on other members’ profiles, which you can do by accessing your “My Account” page on the Site and changing your preferences. If you opt out of automatically having your name left on other members’ profiles, you will still have the ability to leave your name on specific members’ profiles on an individual basis.

1.8. When You Participate in Surveys. From time-to-time, we may request information from our users via surveys relating to our services or on behalf of our affiliates or third-party advertisers. When you participate in a survey, we may request contact information (such as your name and e-mail address) or demographic information (such as your zip code, age or income level). ReminderMillie may share, in aggregate form, information it collects from these surveys with its advertisers, partners, affiliates and the general public, but will not share survey information containing personally identifiable information with any third party without your prior consent. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary, such that you have the choice of whether you wish to disclose the requested information. Additionally, if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the Site, we may keep the information in a file specific to you.

1.10. How We May Supplement Your Information.
